Our VESL Eco-Series Touring Boards are built for some serious speed and mileage. The touring board’s narrower shape, pointed nose and displacement hull allows you to cut through the water as you ride, helping you track and glide more efficiently. These displacement boards are a whole lot of fun for touring, cruising and open water paddling - and they’ll help you shine with their superior performance capabilities.
“Level-up. If conquering longer distance paddling adventures is your goal, our Touring style board with a displacement hull is the way to go. Our design is not as narrow as a true racing platform, making it more user-friendly for everyday paddling at a more experienced level.”

Our paulownia and bamboo boards are constructed using the same materials. The only difference is in the sandwiched wood veneer, which is aesthetic in nature. The right wood grain for you is the SUP you are most attracted to!
If SUP surfing is your primary goal, we recommend selecting a SUP that is one-to-two board sizes shorter than your flat water board, depending on your level of surfing experience and rider weight. Though all of our board lengths include many surfing attributes, we recommend consulting with one of our team members to help make the right decision.
Without altering the finish, glossy boards can be rinsed and polished to keep the board looking shiny, while satin-finished boards can be rinsed and cleaned with a light abrasive pad. Choose whichever aesthetic speaks to you; they both perform the same in the water!
